- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. warm water
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 3/4 c. melted shortening
- 1 egg, well beaten
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water; add egg, sugar, shortening and flour.

2Mix well and refrigerate for at least 2 to 4 hours.

3Drop by spoonful into greased muffin tins (fill to about half full). Bake at 425° for 15 to 20 minutes.
