- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 c. very warm water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 c. self-rising flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm (not hot) water.

2Melt margarine and cream with sugar in large bowl.

3Add yeast to creamed mixture. Next add flour and stir until well mixed.

4To cook, drop by spoonfuls into well-greased muffin tins.

5Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

6This batter may be covered and stored in refrigerator. Use stored batter within two weeks.
