  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 2 c. warm water
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 4 c. self-rising flour, sifted

Directions

    Dissolve the yeast in warm water in a large bowl.

    Add sugar. Add beaten egg and cooled melted margarine.

    Stir in half of the flour and beat well.

    Add remaining flour and beat.

    Place in airtight bowl and keep in refrigerator until needed.

    The dough will keep for several days in the refrigerator.
