- 1 cut up garlic
- 1 c. diced onion
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 5 to 6 c. water
- 1 c. diced potatoes
- 1 c. diced carrots
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 Tbsp. pepper
- garnish with parsley
Directions

1Brown onion, garlic, fat and ground beef.

2Cook until brown. Add rice and water.

3Simmer, uncovered, 40 minutes.

4Then add potatoes and carrots.

5Continue simmering, covered, 20 minutes, until tender.

6Season with soy sauce, salt and pepper.

7Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
