- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 c. finely chopped carrots
- 1 c. minced onion
- 1 c. finely chopped potatoes
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. plain, uncooked rice
Directions

1Brown ground beef.

2Sprinkle garlic salt; add rice and water. Simmer, uncovered, for 40 minutes.

3Next add carrots and potatoes. Cook 20 minutes.

4Stir in soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste.
