- 10 med. red potatoes
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 bunch green onions, diced
- 1 c. (8 oz) extra sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 container (16 oz) sour cream
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 lg. bottle Bac*Os bacon bits
- Salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste
Directions

1Peel, cut up and boil potatoes until tender.

2Drain potatoes and whip with sour cream and milk until they are the consistency of creamy mashed potatoes.

3Saute green onions (tops, too) in the butter until they are translucent.

4Add onions, Bac*Os, 3/4 cup of the Cheddar cheese, salt, pepper and garlic salt to the potato mixture and mix well.

5Pour into a buttered 3 qt casserole dish. Sprinkle top with remaining Cheddar cheese.

6Bake at 350°

7for approximately 30 min. or until bubbly.

8Serves 8 - 10.
