- 2 lb. squash, sliced
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 1/2 c. cheese, grated
- 1 pkg. Waverly wafers, crumbled
- 1/2 c. Pet milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- black pepper to taste
Directions

1Boil squash in small amount of water with salt and pepper and sugar.

2Cover and cook until tender.

3Drain well and add remaining ingredients.

4Mix well and pour into buttered casserole.

5Sprinkle more grated cheese and cracker crumbs on top.

6Bake at 325° for 35 to 40 minutes.
