- 2 c. yellow squash
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 pkg. Pepperidge farm herb stuffing
- 1 stick margarine
Directions

1Cook squash, salt and onion.

2Drain.

3Mix squash, cream of chicken soup, chestnuts, sour cream, carrot and onion.

4Melt margarine with stuffing mix.

5Make a layer of stuffing, then cover with squash mixture; top with remainder

6of stuffing.

7Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
