Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 stick butter or oleo
  • 2 c. cooked squash
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 c. crumbled cornbread
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Saute onions in oleo.

    Mash squash with fork.

    Combine sauteed onions with slightly beaten eggs.

    Add undiluted soup, squash and cornbread.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Mix well and pour in greased casserole.

    Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
