- 4 medium yellow squash
- 1 small onion
- salt and pepper
- 1 can chopped green chili
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 3/4 c. Pet milk or regular low-fat milk
- 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
- toasted bread, chips, cornflake crumbs or croutons (for topping)
Directions

1Cook squash, onion, salt and pepper until tender.

2When tender pour off water.

3Place squash in casserole dish.

4Add green chili, mushroom soup and Pet milk or low-fat milk.

5Stir and add Cheddar cheese soup.

6Spoon over the top.

7Do not mix in soup.

8Top with bread, chips, cornflake crumbs or croutons.

9Brown in a 350° oven about 15 to 20 minutes.
