- 1 lb. squash
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 egg
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1 c. grated cheese
- 1/2 stick margarine
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook squash and onion in salt water until tender.

2Drain. Beat egg lightly.

3Add remaining ingredients reserving 1/3 of cheese and bread crumbs for a topping.

4Turn into a buttered casserole dish and top with cheese and bread crumbs.

5Bake at 350° until cheese is melted and top is browned.

6Makes 6 servings.
