  • 1 pkg. cornbread mix, baked
  • 2 lb. squash, cooked and seasoned
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 c. onions
  • 1 c. celery
  • 1 c. bell pepper
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 or 2 Tbsp. sage
  • salt and pepper
  • Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Combine the squash and milk; crumble in cornbread.

    Saute the onions, celery and bell pepper.

    Add soup, sage, salt and pepper. Mix with squash mixture.

    Sprinkle cheese over casserole and bake 1 hour at 350°.
