Squash Casserole

  • 1 lb. squash
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 stick margarine

    Cook squash and onion together.

    Drain; mash well.

    Drain again.

    Melt margarine in 9-inch baking dish.

    Pour melted margarine into squash.

    Mix all ingredients well except cracker crumbs.

    Pour in casserole dish.

    Top with cracker crumbs.

    Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until firm and top is brown.
