- 2 lb. (6 or 7 medium) yellow squash
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 c. grated cheese (I put Marathon, 1 c.)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Prepare squash; boil until tender and drain thoroughly.

2Place squash in medium-sized mixing bowl.

3Add onions, butter, soup, salt, pepper and 1/2 of the cheese.

4Mix well and pour in casserole dish.

5Add remaining cheese and bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.

6(I stir all of the cheese into squash.)
