Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. squash (yellow) or 2 zucchini
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 (8 oz) pkg. sour cream
  • 1 small jar pimento
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb dressing

Directions

    Cook squash and onion until tender.

    Let cool about 15 minutes. Add soup, sour cream, salt, pepper and pimento.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Grease casserole dish.

    Melt butter; pour over herb dressing.

    Line bottom of dish with dressing, top with remaining dressing.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Serves 8 to 10.
