- 1 lb. yellow squash
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. grated cheese
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. pecans
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 1 chopped onion
Directions

1Cook squash and drain.

2Add all ingredients except bread crumbs and 1/4 cup cheese for topping; mix.

3Add bread crumbs and cheese and bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.

4Feeds 8 to 10 people.
