Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3 or 4 c. cooked squash, cooled and drained very well
  • 1/2 stick melted margarine
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 c. bread or cracker crumbs, crushed
  • 1 c. whole milk
  • 3/4 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese (Cracker Barrel)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, well beaten

Directions

    Pour milk over crushed bread or cracker crumbs and set aside. Mix all other ingredients together well, then add milk and crumb mixture.

    Place in greased casserole dish and bake at 350° for approximately 45 minutes.
