  • 7 small yellow squash
  • 2 small onions
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • pepper to taste
  • bread crumbs
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 stick margarine

Directions

    Cook first five ingredients until tender in a small amount of water.

    Add can of tomatoes (undrained).
  3. 3
    Place in casserole dish. Cover with grated cheese.

    Top with melted margarine and bread crumb mixture.

    Bake in 350° oven for about 30 minutes, until bread crumbs are brown and cheese is melted.
