Ingredients

  • 1 lb. squash
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c. grated cheese
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 c. pimiento
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs

Directions

    Cook squash until tender.

    Drain, add margarine and mash.

    Add the remaining ingredients, except the bread crumbs, and mix well. Pour into buttered casserole dish and top with bread crumbs.

    Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
