- 2 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced yellow squash
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
- 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 c. crushed unsalted saltine crackers
- 1 (0.4 oz.) envelope buttermilk Ranch style salad dressing mix
- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. butter, melted
Directions

1Cook squash with onion according to directions on squash package, omitting salt.

2Drain well, pressing between paper towels.

3Combine squash mixture, mayonnaise, eggs, crackers, salad dressing mix and cheese in a lightly greased 2-quart shallow casserole dish.

4Combine bread crumbs and butter.

5Sprinkle over top.

6Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.

7Serves 8.
