- 4 medium squash
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 c. cornbread crumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 Tbsp. melted oleo
- 1/3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Cook squash and onion in small amount of water until tender; drain.

2Add bread crumbs, saving 2 tablespoons for top, egg, salt, pepper, cheese and 2 tablespoons oleo.

3Spoon into greased casserole.

4Top with crumbs and dot with oleo.

5Bake at 375° for 10 minutes.
