- 2 c. sliced yellow squash
- 1/4 small onion
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of black pepper
- 1/2 c. grated cheese
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
Directions

1Cook sliced squash and onion together in a small amount of water until tender.

2Drain and cool.

3Add beaten eggs, milk, sugar, salt and pepper.

4Put melted butter on the bottom of casserole dish; add squash mixture and top with cheese and bread crumbs.

5Bake 35 minutes at 350°.

6Serves 4.
