- 2 lb. yellow squash, sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 carrots, grated
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
Directions

1Cook squash in small amount of water until tender.

2Drain well and mash.

3Add salt and pepper.

4Combine soup, carrots, onion, sour cream and butter, blending well.

5Add squash, stirring gently.

6Alternate layers of squash, mixture and bread crumbs in greased 2-quart casserole dish.

7Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
