- 2 lb. yellow squash
- 2 medium onions, chopped fine
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 small jar pimento
- 1 can water chestnuts, chopped
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook squash, onion and salt.

2Let cook until tender; drain well and mash.

3When mashed, add next 4 ingredients, then melt oleo and stir in crumbs until coated well.

4Line a 9 x 13-inch dish with 3/4 of the crumbs.

5Pour squash mixture over these, then add the remaining crumbs on top.

6Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
