- 1 lb. yellow squash
- 1/4 c. grated onion
- 3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Wash squash and cut into chunks.

2Cook in boiling water until tender.

3Drain.

4Add onion, margarine, cheese, sugar, eggs, milk, salt and pepper.

5Mix well and pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.

6Top with crumbs.

7Bake uncovered at 375° for 40 minutes.
