- 2 1/2 c. cooked squash, drain well then mash before measuring
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 4 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 pkg. herb stuffing mix
Directions

1Melt margarine and blend with stuffing mix. Place 1/2 of the mixture in baking dish that has been coated with a nonstick spray. In a bowl mix cooked mashed squash, soup, sour cream, onion and water chestnuts.

2Pour mixture into casserole dish.

3Top squash mixture with remaining stuffing. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
