  • 5 to 6 yellow squash or 1 large zucchini
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. frosted flakes or corn flakes crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar (if corn flakes are used)

Directions

    Cut yellow or zucchini squash in chunks into a 2-quart casserole.

    Add sour cream, chicken soup and cheese.

    Mix frosted flakes or corn flakes crumbs with butter; sprinkle on top of casserole.

    Bake in a 350° oven until squash is tender.
