Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 c. yellow squash
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 sticks margarine, melted
  • 1 small tub onion dip
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 box cornbread Stove Top stuffing

Directions

    Saute squash, onion and 1/2 stick butter until squash is tender.

    Set aside.

    In a large bowl, combine dry Stove Top, seasoning packet and 1 1/2 sticks butter (melted).

    Press 1/2 into bottom of casserole dish.

    Combine squash mixture with onion dip, mushroom soup and pepper.

    Pour over stuffing in casserole dish, then crumble the remaining stuffing on top.

    Bake at 350° until golden brown.
