  • 1 1/2 c. cooked squash
  • 1 c. shredded cheese
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. onion, chopped
  • 1 c. milk, scalded
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • bread crumbs
  • grated cheese

Directions

    Melt butter in hot milk.

    Add bread crumbs.

    Add all remaining ingredients (but crumbs and cheese) and place in casserole dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and cheese.

    Bake in 350° oven about 30 minutes or until firm.
