Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 to 2 pounds cooked and seasoned squash, mashed
  • 1 to 1 1/2 sticks margarine
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing mix (8-oz.)
  • 1 can pimento, finely diced
  • 1 8-oz. carton sour cream
  • 1 can finely sliced water chestnuts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

Directions

    Melt 1 to 1 1/2 stick margarine. Pour over dry stuffing mix and line dish with 1/2 of this mixture.

    Mix above ingredient and pour over crumbs.

    Top with remaining crumbs.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
