- 6 medium yellow squash, sliced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, chopped
- 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook squash and onion in small amount of water until tender; drain.

2Mix in cheese and chilies.

3Salt and pepper to taste. Pour into buttered casserole dish.

4Sprinkle bread crumbs over top.

5Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
