Squash Casserole

  • 6 medium yellow squash, sliced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, chopped
  • 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Cook squash and onion in small amount of water until tender; drain.

    Mix in cheese and chilies.

    Salt and pepper to taste. Pour into buttered casserole dish.

    Sprinkle bread crumbs over top.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
