  • 2 c. squash
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 slices soft bread, torn in pieces
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 c. shredded cheese
  • pepper, as desired

Directions

    Cook squash and salt in water until tender.

    Mix all ingredients, except 1/4 cup of cheese.

    Mix well and pour into greased 1-quart dish.

    Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake 5 minutes longer.
