- 4 or 5 squash
- 1 onion
- salt
- pepper
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- cheese (mild or medium)
- saltine crackers
Directions

1Slice squash and boil with sliced onion until done.

2Drain and add salt, pepper and margarine.

3Layer in dish: 1/2 squash mixture, 1/2 can cream of mushroom soup and cheese.

4Repeat with next layer.

5Top with crushed saltines.

6Bake at 350° for about 15 to 20 minutes.
