Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 4 or 5 squash
  • 1 onion
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • cheese (mild or medium)
  • saltine crackers

Directions

    Slice squash and boil with sliced onion until done.

    Drain and add salt, pepper and margarine.

    Layer in dish: 1/2 squash mixture, 1/2 can cream of mushroom soup and cheese.

    Repeat with next layer.

    Top with crushed saltines.

    Bake at 350° for about 15 to 20 minutes.
