- 2 lb. chopped squash, precook in salt water
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. almonds
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 c. chopped bell peppers, cook with onions
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1/2 c. pimento
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Cook onions and bell peppers in the butter until tender.

2Add all the other ingredients except cheese.

3Pour into casserole dish; put cheese on top.

4Bake at 350° until everything is cooked through good and cheese is done.
