Squash Casserole

  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. yellow squash, sliced
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 2 c. Pepperidge Farm dressing mix
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 onion, grated or chopped finely

    Melt butter.

    Cook squash until tender and drain.

    Add salt and pepper.

    Mix sour cream, soup and onion.

    Pour melted butter on dressing.

    Mix well.

    Alternate layers of squash, soup and dressing in casserole dish.

    Bake at 375° for 30 minutes. Can freeze ahead.
