Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 squash
  • 1 garlic bud or garlic salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. unsalted saltines or bread crumbs, crushed up
  • 1 stick butter

Directions

    Cook squash with butter, salt, pepper and garlic.

    Cook until tender; mash and add eggs, cheese, milk and cracker crumbs.

    Pour into buttered casserole dish; top with cracker crumbs.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
