Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 boxes frozen squash
  • 4 grated carrots
  • 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken
  • 1 (8 oz.) bag Pepperidge Farm dressing (blue label)
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small jar pimento, diced

    Cook and drain squash.

    Do not overcook squash; it should still be firm.

    Melt butter and pour over the dressing in a large bowl. Toss to mix in butter, then reserve 1 1/2 cups for later.

    Add all ingredients in a large mixing bowl (except reserved dressing). Turn into a buttered baking dish; sprinkle reserved dressing over top and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
