- 5 or 6 medium squash
- 1 medium onion
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/4 stick melted margarine
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 box or pkg. corn meal mix, baked according to pkg.
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp. sage (optional)
- 6 oz. Velveeta cheese (optional)
Directions

1Make cornbread and bake.

2Cut up squash and onion in pan and cook these two together until very tender.

3Drain the water off of squash, then mash very well.

4Can put into food processor.

5Mix this together with cornbread, beaten eggs, cream of chicken soup and other ingredients in buttered casserole dish.

6Mix well.

7Bake at 350° in oven for 30 to 50 minutes until top is brown.
