- 2 lb. yellow squash
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1/2 stick butter or oleo
- 2 c. grated sharp cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. milk (or more)
- 16 saltine crackers
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook squash and onion until tender.

2Drain and mash.

3Add butter and cheese.

4Add eggs, milk and crackers.

5Mix well. Season to taste. Put in 2-quart casserole. Top with buttered cracker crumbs. Bake at 350° about 30 minutes.
