  • 2 c. sliced cooked yellow squash
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine, divided
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. California Style blend garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. Progresso Italian-style bread crumbs, divided

Directions

    Pour milk over 1 cup bread crumbs; set aside for a few minutes.

    Combine cooked squash, onion, 1 tablespoon melted butter or margarine, eggs, garlic salt and pepper; blend well.

    Add bread crumbs mixture; stir to blend.

    Spoon into a 1-quart casserole that has been sprayed with a nonstick cooking spray.
