- 1 lb. fresh squash
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. bell pepper, chopped
- 3 slices bread
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook squash until tender; drain.

2Mash with potato masher. Add margarine; beat egg, onion, bell pepper and mayonnaise.

3Stir well.

4Put in greased casserole dish.

5Brown bread real crisp. Crumble up bread and sprinkle on top of casserole.

6Bake at 350° until done (about 1 hour).
