Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 to 2 1/2 lb. yellow squash
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 small jar Cheez Whiz
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can chopped green chiles
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 pieces toast

Directions

    Cook squash until tender, then drain.

    Place half of Cheez Whiz in bottom of dish, then a layer of squash.

    Beat 2 eggs and add salt, pepper, onion and green chiles.

    Pour that mixture on squash.

    Add layer of mixture and squash, then Cheez Whiz.

    Pour that over top, then toast crumbs as final layer.

    Cook on 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
