- 1 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 c. finely chopped green pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour, unsifted
Directions

1Combine first 5 ingredients; mix well.

2Stir in flour; drop by tablespoons into 1/2-inch hot oil.

3Cook until browned, turning once.

4Drain on paper towel.
