- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- hot vegetable oil

1Combine first 5 ingredients and mix well. Stir in flour.

2Drop by tablespoonfuls into 1/2-inch of hot oil. Cook until browned, turning once.
