  • 2 c. or more squash, cooked, drained and mashed
  • 1 pkg. cornbread, mixed, baked and crumbled
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 stick oleo
  • poultry seasoning to taste
  • 1 egg

Directions

    Saute vegetables in oleo.

    Add vegetables and squash to crumbs.

    Add cream of chicken soup.

    Add 1 cup water.

    Add 1 beaten egg, salt and poultry seasoning to taste.

    Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan (greased) 30 minutes at 350°.
