- 6 tender squash (1/2 doz.)
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Cut squash and boil until tender; mash.

2Add egg, minced onion and enough bread crumbs to thicken batter.

3Add salt and pepper to taste.

4Drop by spoonfuls in hot fat.

5Fry golden brown and serve hot.
