  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. cornmeal
  • 1 medium onion, chopped

    Drop by tablespoons into hot oil in a large skillet.

    Flatten patties to 1/4-inch thickness.

    Cook until golden brown.
