- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 3 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 1 c. shredded yellow squash
- 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- hot salad oil
Directions

1Combine all ingredients except salad oil; mix well.

2Drop mixture by tablespoon into 1/2 inch hot oil in a large skillet. Flatten patties to 1/4 inch thickness.

3Cook to a golden brown, turn over and brown other side.
