- 8 c. thin sliced squash
- 2 c. sliced onions
- 2 c. vinegar
- 4 or 5 small bell peppers, sliced (optional)
- 2 tsp. celery seed
- 2 tsp. mustard seed
- 3 c. sugar
Directions

1Put squash and onion in bowl.

2Sprinkle with salt and let stand for 1 hour.

3Drain any liquid.

4Mix vinegar, sugar, celery seed, mustard seed and bell pepper in saucepan and let it come to a boil.

5Add squash and onion to vinegar mixture.

6Place in hot jars and seal.
