- 1 gal. squash
- 2 green peppers
- 8 small onions
- 1/2 c. salt
- 5 c. sugar
- 5 c. vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
Directions

1Slice squash, peppers and onions paper thin. Mix together first 4 ingredients. Let stand 3 hours, rinse and drain. Mix together next 6 ingredients. Heat to boiling point. Add squash mixture and bring to boiling point again. Do not boil. Put in jars and seal.
